Hiretech HTF Orbital Floor Sander adhesive backing pad is used to secure the sandpaper to the sanding block. It is also used as a 220 grit pad to sand in between coats of polyurethane. For best results always use Hiretech original abrasives and backing pads. Generic brands are known to wear prematurly and can cause damage to the sanding block. It is important that the backing pad is maintained in good condition and not used beyond its useful working life.
