Restraint Lanyards are intended to be used on platforms, in buckets and other areas to prevent the possibility of a fall. Different lengths and types are available to restrict leading edge access. Restraint lanyards can be attached to the back D-ring on a full body harness or restraint belt.

The 6-Foot Rope Restraint Lanyard features single-leg construction and utilizes 5/8-inch 3-strand polyester rope for resistance to UV light and abrasion, with a tensile strength of 8,500 pounds. This lanyard also features double-locking snap hooks at the attachment and anchorage ends. Both ends feature a steel thimble for extra resistance to wear, and the rope end terminations feature a 5-tuck splice.
