Versatile Automatic Grade Lasers for Level, Grade and Vertical Alignment

The automatic self-leveling Spectra Precision GL1425C dual grade laser is the most rugged, cost-effective laser that does three jobs—level, grade, and vertical alignment. Even in harsh jobsite conditions, the GL1425C delivers consistently reliable and accurate performance, enabling you to work faster and smarter.

The GL1425C has Bluetooth built in so it can work with the Spectra Precision Laser Remote App and eliminate the cost of the remote control. The laser can be controlled with your smartphone.

The rugged GL1425C laser can withstand drops of up to 1 meter (3 feet) onto concrete and tripod tip overs up to 1.5 meters (5 feet). This strength, combined with full weatherproofing and dustproofing, reduces downtime and lowers repair costs over the life of the product.

The GL1425C has options for receivers. The advanced HL760 Digital Readout receiver provides automatic Grade Match which allows measurement of unknown grade values between two points over unknown ground and eliminates time consuming slope calculations. PlaneLok automatically locks on to an existing elevation or vertical alignment point which eliminates all drift or possibility of error dueto improper calibration or weather. The CR700 receiver is also an option when a machine mounted display elevation is required.

Improved temperature stability-No warm up time

Self warming process had different impact to the Y and X axis with the old product; one axis was always close to the maximum accuracy – With the GL1425C we have more margin in both axis for level accuracy. Specification for level accuracy at room temp will be the same like GL422N. Specification for level accuracy at other temperature will be different but was never communicated before:

Spectra Laser Receiver Model No. CR700

The CR700 can be either rod or machine mounted, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. Using the magnetic mount, the CR700 receiver is easily moved between backhoes, small excavators, box blades or skid steer loaders.

The CR700 uses the patented “light bar” technology incorporated in the HL family of Spectra Precision laser receivers. This unique technology provides more accurate and more consistent readings than traditional methods and has fewer electronic components resulting in the most rugged and reliable laser receivers available.

RC402N for total remote control

Program the exact percent of grade from .001% to 9.999%

GL1425C-14 Includes:

  • CR700 Combination Receiver
  • RC1402 Remote Control
  • NiMH Batteries
  • 110v Battery Charger
  • Jobsite tough carrying case

  • Automatic self-leveling - Horizontal, vertical, and grade
  • Accuracy 1.5mm @ 30m (1/16 inch @ 100 ft)
  • Working range of 800m (2,600 ft) diameter
  • +/- 9% grade (simultaneously; no tilt adjustment of the tripod) +/- 15% grade (simultaneously; with tilt adjustment of the tripod) Laser (LCD) helps with tilt adjustment
  • No warm up time Improved temperature stability Improved temperature accuracy for grade. Reduced temperature check (only when internal temp has changed more than 9°F / 5°C)
  • Radio communication between the HL760 and CR700 digital receiver and the laser provides automatic Grade Matching and PlaneLok
  • Bluetooth connection allows laser control with a smartphone
  • Height of Instrument Alert - unit stops rotating when jarred to avoid erroneous readings
  • Rotation selection of 300, 600 or 900 RPM. Machine control systems work better with high rpm 600rpm = 10 laser strikes per second vs. 900 rpm = 15 laser strikes per second
